HorstFantazzini.net è un progetto nato nel 2005 per tenere viva la memoria di Horst Fantazzini, anarchico e artista meglio conosciuto come il "bandito gentile" a causa delle sue rapine in banca con pistole giocattolo, che passò gran parte della vita in carcere, dove morì nel dicembre 2001.
Dal suo libro autobiografico "Ormai è fatta!", il regista Enzo Monteleone trasse un film nel 1999 con Stefano Accorsi nel ruolo di Horst.
Dopo la sua morte, 108 artisti da tutto il mondo gli hanno dedicato un disegno, una foto, un collage, dando vita alla mostra di arte postale "Mail Art - Bandito in Bicicletta".

Dopo un lavoro di ricerca e raccolta di materiale tuttora in corso, abbiamo pubblicato un sito che raggruppa documenti, articoli, iniziative, libri su Horst, così come i suoi disegni, poesie, racconti, scritti e altri lavori nati dalla sua creatività.

Il progetto non sarebbe mai stato realizzato senza Patrizia "Pralina" Diamante, l'ultima compagna di Horst, che
ne e' stata l'ideatrice.

Il nostro intento è quello di far conoscere meglio la figura di Horst Fantazzini nella sua complessità e drammaticità. E anche quello di ricordare i progetti e le iniziative organizzati in sua memoria negli ultimi anni.

HorstFantazzini.net is a project launched in 2005 for the memory of Horst Fantazzini, an Italian anarchist and artist that spent most of his life in prison, where he eventually died six years ago. He was well known as the "gentle bandit", cause he used to make bank robberies with toy guns or by bike.
About his life the Italian director Enzo Monteleone made a movie in 1999 with the actor Stefano Accorsi performing Horst.
After his death, 108 artists from all over the world dedicated to him a work, a drawing, a picture, giving life to the itinerant exhibition "Mail Art - Bandit by Bicycle".

After months of research and collection of all material we have been able to find about his life, we published a web site, that groups most of the documents, articles, initiatives, books about Horst, as well as his drawings, poems, tales, pieces of writing and other work born from his creativity. Although most part of the web site is in Italian, you can read all the biography in English and Spanish, and enjoy the section Mail art, as well as all Horst Fantazzini works in section "Opere".
This project wouldn't never been realized without the figure of Patrizia "Pralina" Diamante, Horst's last mate.
